OUKITEL K6000 VS. DOOGEE HOMTOM HT6- Affordable Price, Huge Batteries

The OUkitel K6000 and the Doogee Homtom HT6 are both remarkably good devices and affordable price tags. Yet, there are not too many people who have heard of them. Definitely not as many as those who have heard of Samsung, Apple’s iPhone or other high- end brands. Even so, we decided to present the Oukitel K6000 and the Doogee Homtom HT6 as an option for you. They have more than decent specs and absolutely insane batteries that ensure about three times more battery life than any high- edge device released this year. So, here they are:

OUKITEL K6000

The Oukitel K6000 is a remarkable smartphone. It has a nice design, reminding us a little of the iPhone’s body, with sleek lines and a minimalist look. The Oukitel K6000 is not the thinnest device out there, being 9.5 mm thick, but it is still pleasant to hold and comfortable to use. It is a pleasant looking smartphone with a 2.5D curved glass and almost frameless screen that offers a 80% screen- to- body ratio. This is not bad at all for a device, specially not for a low- budget one. The display of the Oukitel K6000 is a 5.5- inch one with HD resolution. It delivers clear images that could be mistaken with those produced by high- end smartphones.

oukitel k6000

The Oukitel K6000 is powered by a 64- bit, MTK6735, quad- core processor clocked at 1.0 GHz. This is combined with a Mali-T720 GPU in order to make the Mali-T720 run smoothly. It’s definitely not the most powerful device relesed lately but it is enough to complete everyday tasks. The Mali-T720 includes 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage that can be further extended due to the TF card slot it features. This supports an extra 32 GB of storage making it easy for users to enjoy all the music they need or their videos.

The dual SIM, dual standby Oukitel K6000 also has  a dual camera system. The back camera of the Oukitel K6000 has a 8 MP sensor (interpolation to 13 MP) that can take pretty good quality photos. It also comes with a number of features such as touch focus, auto focus and flashlight and it is able to record videos also. The secondary camera of the Oukitel K6000 has a 2 MP sensor ( interpolation to 5 MP), that will deliver good quality selfies.

The Oukitel K6000 is a 4G phablet so it supports  GSM, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G, 3G, GPS and WiFi. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop so it has access to Google Play Store and users will be able to download every app they would like. What really makes the Oukitel K6000 a great device is its huge, 6000 mAh battery. This is a non- removable battery but it doesn’t even matter because users will definitely not need to carry an extra battery around. The 6000 mAh battery of the Oukitel K6000 is able to ensure up to 10 days of normal use, 96 hours of talk time and 40 days in standby. Which high- end device can do that?

The Oukitel K6000 is quite an impressive smartphone, making it a great choice if you need a basic, but reliable device. It is priced only $139.99 on Gearbest, so it is extremely affordable also. The Oukitel K6000 looks nice, has decent amount of power, an extraordinary battery and can do most of the things any expensive smartphone can. The Oukitel K6000 only does it for a fraction of the price you would spend for a high- end device.

The Doogee Homtom HT6 is powered by the same 64- bit  MTK6735, quad- core processor clocked at 1.0 GHz and Mali-T720 GPU, like the Oukitel K6000. This makes it just as powerful as the Oukitel K6000. The Doogee Homtom HT6 also runs on Android 5.1, like the Oukitel K6000.It is a 4G dual SIM, dual standby phablet that supports Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GSM, WiFi and 4G, just like the Oukitel K6000. And just like the aforementioned Oukitel K6000, it has a staggering battery. The non- removable Lithium-ion Polymer battery of the Doogee Homtom HT6 is even higher- capacity than the one of the Oukitel K6000. The HT6 has a 6250 mAh battery. According to its presentation delivcered by Doogee, the Doogee Homtom HT6 is able to ensure up to 7 days of normal use and 72 hours of talking time. On paper it doesn’t seem as long lasting as the battery of the Oukitel K6000, but it might surprise you in real life. In a good way.

The Doogee Homtom HT6 is a good- looking, well behaving device that will take you through the week instead of just taking you through the day. So if you don’t necessarily need everything a high- end device has to offer for a large price, you can always opt for a smaller investment, in a less powerful smartphone. If this is the case with you, you could opt for one of the two devices we presented today: the Oukitel K6000 and the Doogee Homtom HT6. All of their main features are similar, so what really should make you decide is their design.
