Thanks to its great kickstand you don’t have to always hold the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, you can prop it so you can enjoy watching videos without having to hold the device.

The design of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 is quite eye- catching at feels more expensive than it is. Its body is made of plastic but it looks as if it were made of metal due to its silver color. The cylindrical hinge and the metal kickstand are not only practical, they also add to the design of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, making it modern looking and steady at the same time. At first glance you would definitely not think that the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 has a price tag under 200 dollars.

This tablet priced under 200 dollars also features MultiWindow mode and a great number of apps. These include bloatware and third- party apps also. Tab2-A10

Lenovo delivered multiple devices that are priced under 200 dollars but are still great. One of them is the Lenovo Tab 2 A10. This is a slightly larger devices than the Yoga Tablet 2, with a 10-inch display. It also has a bright, full HD display, just like its sibling. It has a sleek, elegant design with a metallic blue plastic shell that looks more premium than it actually is. And it definitely doesn’t look like a device that is priced under 200 dollars.

The brightness of the Lenovo Tab s A10’s display rises to 380 nits which is nowhere near the brightness of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 but is still above the average brightness of tablets. It is definitely higher than the brightness of tablets priced under 200 dollars. It displays 94 percent of the sRGB gamut which is quite impressive for such an affordable device. Its accuracy is also better than the one featured by other tablets that are priced under 200 dollars.

The audio of the Lenovo Tab 2 A10 is quite impressive also. It comes with Dolby Atmos and delivers great quality sounds, just like the previous tablet presented. When hearing the sound produced by the Lenovo Tab 2 A10 you wouldn’t think it comes from a device that is priced under 200 dollars. Sounds are clear, crisp and loud.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Lenovo tried to keep the operating system as close as possible to the pure version delivered by Google. There is only minimal bloatware on the Lenovo Tab 2 A10 which makes it fast and responsive, making it a great device that probably shouldn’t be priced under 200 dollars, as it is. The Lenovo Tab 2 A10 features Lenovo apps, Google apps and third- party apps, so users have a lot to choose from.

As far as power goes, the Lenovo Tab 2 A10 boasts a 1.5-GHz MediaTek MT8165 64-bit, quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. It ensures up to 12 hours of web surfing which is quite impressive for a tablet that costs under 200 dollars. 1. Asus ZenPad S 8.0- Price starting from $199.00

asus-zenpad-s80

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 definitely looks more elegant and sleek than you would believe that a device priced under 200 dollars could ever look. It is slim, quite light device that can easily be fitted into a purse. It actually looks like a purse given its smooth, matte panel with a subtle weave pattern that takes up five-sixths of the space, and a bar with a leather like finish. Although it might not be what men ever dreamed of, it could be exactly what women are looking for. It would be a nice and useful accessory.

The ZenPad S 8.0 has an 8- inch display with 2048 x 1536 resolution that makes it perfect for entertaining. Watching videos ont he ZenPad S 8.0 will definitely be a delight thanks to its crisp and clear display. Unfortunately the brightness of the ZenPad s 8.0’s display is not as impressive as its resolution, measuring only 299 nits, which is lower than both of the devices that we presented above. This means that although it delivers great quality image indoors, outdoors you might be disappointed by the ZenPad S 8.0. It is able to reproduce 91.7% f the sRGB color gamut, which makes it better than the average tablets but not as good as the Lenovo Tab 2 A10. Still, this is not a bad feature for a tablet that is priced under 200 dollars. It’s not as accurate either as many of the other tablets on the market but let’s not forget its price tag that is situated under 200 dollars.

The audio quality of the ZenPad S 8.0 is not impressive either. While it is loud enough to fill a room, the quality is not exactly the best and it also lacks bass. Of course, this might be expected from a device that is priced under 200 dollars, but we’ve seen that it can be better. So Asus could work a little bit on this particular feature of the ZenPad S 8.0 to improve it.The operating system the ZenPad S 8.0 runs on is the Android 5.0 Lollipop, Asus’ ZenUI overlaid. This offer easy access to different apps and features, but is also means that it has a considerable amount of bloatware next to Google apps and third- party apps.

The ZenPad S 8.0 is powered by a 1.3-GHz Intel Atom Z3530 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. If you are willing to pay more than 200 dollars, you will get a more powerful processor, more RAM and storage. The ZenPad S 8.0 also has an 8 MP back camera which actually shoots quite crisp, clear and colofrul pictures, as well as a 5 MP selfie camera. The latter doesn’t deliver pictures of incredibly high quality, but it is good enough for a device that is priced under 200 dollars. The ZenPad S 8.0 also offers a number of features that should enhance the camera experience, so it is suitable for regular use.

The ZenPad S 8.0 has a 15.2Wh Li-polymer Battery that ensure up to 6 hours and 47 minutes of web surfing and will barely take you through the day. There are other tablets priced under 200 dollars that have better battery, but of course there other more expensive ones also that have even lower battery life.

  1. Acer Iconia Tab 10- Price starting from $184.99

acer_iconia_a10

Acer’s Iconia Tab 10 is also a great tablet priced under 200 dollars. Although it doesn’t impress with its design, keeping it simple with its rounded edges and smooth back, it’s still a pleasant device. The Corning Gorilla Glass display makes it more durable, adding to its value. It has a 10- inch, HD IPS touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolution. The brightness of the Iconia Tab 10 is 369 nits, which is not extremely impressive but it isn’t bad either. It is actually better than average result of tablets on the brightness scale. This is not bad at all for a tablet that is priced under 200 dollars. The accuracy of the colors delivered by the Iconia Tab 10 is fairly good, while the screen is able to reproduce 75 percent on the sRGB color gamut scale.

The Acer Iconia Tab 10 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and basically has the interface of a Android smartphone. It has a quick- setting menu which includes controls for Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, brightness, rotation lock and access to the full Settings menu. The Acer Iconia Tab 10 is powered by a 1.5-GHz MediaTek MT8127 quad-core processor. It includes 1GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory. It’s not a powerful device, nor fast, but it will be able to complete regular tasks with minimal lag. It is decently powerful for as tablet that is priced under 200 dollars, but don’t expect it to work wonders, because it won’t.

The camera section of the Acer Iconia Tab 10 isn’t impressive either. The model of the Acer Iconia Tab 10 that is priced under 200 dollars only features a 2 MP front – facing camera which probably won’t deliver the best quality pictures.  Colors are pretty accurate, but details won’t be as claer as one would hope for them to be.

The Acer Iconia Tab 10 has a 5910 mAh battery that can ensure up to 9 hours of video battery time. This is not bad for a device priced under 200 dollars, but it could definitely be better, as we’ve already showed with previously presented tablets. Although the Acer Iconia Tab 10 is a decent tablet, priced under 200 dollars, if you are looking for a powerful tablet, you should choose between the other devices presented in this article.

  1. Lenovo Tab 2 A8- Price starting from $129.99

TAB 2 A8 Images - Product Photography TAB 2 A8_Black_Hero_04_Wit

The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 is the little brother of the previously presented A10 model. Just like its bigger brother, the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 looks sleek and elegant due to its metallic finish. It is made of polycarbonate but it still looks premium and feels like that also. It definitely looks more expensive than its price tag which is situated way under 200 dollars.

Just like it is suggested by the model name, the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 has an 8- inch IPS display. It comes with HD resolution but delivers good quality image with satisfactory color saturation. The 368 nits brightness of the Lenovo Tab 2 A8’s screen is higher than the tablet average of 348, but it is lower than the one featured by some of the other tablets that are priced under 200 dollars that we already presented. The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 is able to display 91.6 percent of the sRGB gamut, which is also above average, making the device a quite impressive one for its price tag which is under 200 dollars.

Just like its bigger brother, the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 comes with Dolby Atmos audio software which turns the audio experience of the tablet into a delight. Sounds are clear, loud and high- quality. The Lenovo tab 2 A8 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Just as we stated in the case of the A10 model, this is a version of the operating system that is really close to the stock version. This makes the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 move faster and easier. User experience will definitely be improved in comparison with other tablets that run on more modified versions of Android.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 is powered by a 1.3-GHz quad-core MediaTekMT8161 processor and 2GB of RAM. This doesn’t really turn the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 into a powerful tablet. Not even for one that is priced under 200 dollars. It is a decent device, but it will cause some trouble when trying to complete multiple tasks in the same time. Browsers may crash and users will probably experience some lag when switching between apps.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 features a 5 MP back camera that shoots good quality pictures that are relatively clear and detailed. The 2 MP selfie camera on the other hand is not that impressive, delivering quite blurred selfies. These are “enhanced” by the beauty face feature, although this sometimes only blurs them even further.

The 4290 mAh battery of the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 ensures up to an impressive 11 hours and 32 minutes of battery life while continuously surfing the web over Wi-Fi at 150 nits of brightness.. This is way higher than the average result, making the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 one of the best tablets priced under 200 dollars based on the battery life. It isn’t the fastest device, but it is one of the tablets that ensure the longest battery lives.

Conclusion

The presented tablets are not the only ones that are priced under 200 dollars. They aren’t necessarily the best either, this may vary according to customer’s needs. But these devices are certainly some of the best tablets that you can buy now and are priced under 200 dollars. They may lack some of the features high- end tablets offer, but they are also considerably more affordable. They are suitable for regular use and they are more than OK when used by families, children or as a secondary device.
