The most recent Tesla OTA update includes a wild light show mode, Apple Music, Zoom, and Steam games

Tesla customers: Check your automobiles now. Your new toys are nice. The most noticeable addition to the most recent OTA update was Steam, which includes thousands of titles. However, this software is only available for Model S and X vehicles with 16GB of RAM (only found in vehicles made in 2022).

Tesla was introducing support for Steam, Elon Musk announced in a tweet in July. This update’s beta version even adds support for Steam’s cloud synchronization, enabling games to be continued on any Steam device or in a car. Even better, while using Arcade Mode, the OTA update included Bluetooth support for game controllers. The PS5 controller is the most effective, according to Tesla’s release notes.

But there is also something in this update for everyone. Owners may use the mobile app to access the in-car camera thanks to the improved Dog Mode. In addition to moving the media controls, Zoom and Apple Music were also introduced. Tesla also made updates to the navigation user interface, moving the remaining navigational information to the bottom of the screen and pinning the window displaying the upcoming turn to the top of the screen. Switch signals can turn off automatically, door handles have new options, and drivers can relive their Mario Kart days by driving on a rainbow road while parked at home.

And right on schedule for the holidays, Tesla’s enduringly well-liked light show option may now coordinate with other Tesla cars. Now that your Tesla cars are lined up, you and your friends may perform a show while listening to the same song. Festive.
