Apple expands drive, mail, and notes on iCloud.com

After updating iOS, iPadOS, and macOS in recent weeks, Apple has redesigned iCloud.com to support browser notifications for Mail and Calendar on a PC, a customizable home page with quick actions, and a slideshow view for photos.

Last year, Apple added widgets to iCloud.com to view Notes and Pages data. This year’s update lets you download a file, delete an email, mark it unread, or complete a reminder from the home page.

The new iCloud supports PC browser notifications for iCloud emails and Calendar invitations. Like iOS 17, you can link notes in another note.

A new list view and file preview before downloading are coming to iCloud Drive. Press the spacebar after selecting the file.

The update also lets users create iCloud email addresses online and undo sends. The web interface lets users attach files and photos from iCloud Drive or Photos.

Upgraded Photos web app supports Memories and slideshow view.

Casual iCloud users can probably use this website as a web app on macOS Sonoma, which launched this week, given the few updates.

Apple announced two new iCloud+ tiers with 6TB storage for $29.99 and 12TB storage for $59.99 at its Wanderlust event earlier this month.
