“Black Mirror” season six premiered Wednesday on Netflix with a disturbing trailer. The streamer debuts the series on June 15.
The trailer begins with a glimpse of the first episode, which, like all “Black Mirror” episodes, is terrifying.
Episode one, “Joan is Awful,” features “Streamberry,” a Netflix clone that plays the “ta-dum” sound for three seconds when users log in. The episode features Annie Murphy from “Schitt’s Creek” as Joan. Joan learns that Salma Hayek plays her in a streaming service TV drama.
The new trailer shows more clips from the highly anticipated five-episode season. Michael Cera, Rob Delaney, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Rory Culkin, Kate Mara, Zazie Beetz, and Himesh Patel also star.
This month, Netflix blog Tudum released episode descriptions for this season.
