The Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone is one of the more anticipated smartphones releasing this year, but not much is currently known about the new device from Samsung. In the past few days rumours have been flying around about some of its features, and a few hours ago its specs seem to have been leaked on a popular benchmark app.
According to what’s been reported by TechRez, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.1 inch display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 4GB RAM, 64GB of on-board storage, a 12MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera. Rumors from the past days stated that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is going to feature a 23MP primary camera so we can’t really be sure on the matter right now.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is apparently going to be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chip, something that has also been revealed by earlier rumors. The device will be sold in two different variants, with the Exynos SoC variant only coming outside the U.S. market. Lastly, the new smartphone is apparently going to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the Adreno 530 GPU.
These leaked Samsung Galaxy S7 specs have yet to be confirmed officially by the manufacturer, so we must consider them as rumored specs until solid evidence comes in. As the Samsung Galaxy S7 is supposed to be released in the first few months of 2016, more on them will surely come soon.
