Vertu Launches new Generation Constellation

Vertu, the smartphone manufacturer most popular for its almost indecent prices, launches a new smartphone model. The new Constellation will become available starting mid-February. After all, it is a hand- made Vertu, and they don’t come cheap, that’s for sure. On the other hand, no one buys such a smartphone because of its affordable price, people buy it for its amazing quality and the statute it confers to owners.

The Constellation will have a 5.5-inch WQHD AMOLED display. With 3.6 million pixels, this is able to deliver extraordinary color and details. The smartphone’s display is protected by a 140 carat 6th generation sapphire crystal screen for added resistance to drops and scratches. The handset features Dolby® Digital Plus virtual surround sound processing, with front-facing stereo speakers on the top and bottom of the device. Of course, for a better quality of the phone calls, the device features uplink noise canceling and HD Voice support. The handset includes 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for extra storage. It has a 3220mAh battery and it features a USB Type-C port for charging.

The  Constellation has a 12MP camera that supports 4K video. It is also great for slow motion video capture and for taking panorama shots. The smartphone runs on Android 6.01 Marshmallow. Given its price range maybe Nougat ould have been a  better choice, but after all, the majority of Vertu users might not consider this feature to be a crucial one. Naturally, besides the aforementioned ones, the Constellation has a number of other features, including Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and secure communications from Silent Circle.

The release of the new  Constellation is only a few weeks away. In case you have the budget, you can start thinking about the skin you would like your smartphone to have. As usual, it is a high- quality leather, from a specialist, family-run tannery in Italy. There is no information regarding the pricing of the device, but it’s safe to assume it will be quite expensive. The latest Vertu smartphone’s price started at £6,500. The upcoming model will probably cost at least that much, if not even more. Of course, the price of more exclusive models can go a lot higher.
