SLIDE Launches New Windows Tablet and Notebook Lineup

SLIDE just announced the launch of a new lineup of 2-in-1 tablets, convertible and traditional notebooks. The smart devices developer also launched a number of smartwatches,  computing devices, flip and feature phones, and projectors. All of the above will become available in the first quarter of this year. While the smartphones run on Android, the tablets and notebooks feature Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. The tablets and notebooks are affordable, with prices ranging from $199 to $399.

The SLIDE Windows 2-in-1 tablet feature detachable keyboards. This way, users can opt for using the tablet alone or enjoy the benefits of a keyboard. While the tablet-mode is better when watching videos for example, in case users need to complete some work on the tablet, the detachable keyboard can come in handy. There are a 10.1-inch 2-in-1 tablet and an 8-inch one. Both variants have Intel Quad Core processors, Bluetooth keyboards, Wi-Fi platform, memory card slots, and HD displays. The larger tablet includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in memory. It also features a 2MP selfie camera, a 5MP primary camera, and a 6000mAh battery. The 8-inch tablet includes only 1Gb of RAM and 16GB built-in memory. However, it has a better, 8MP back camera paired with a 2MP front-facing camera. the battery of this tablet is also smaller, it’s only a 3500mAh one.

The SLIDE convertible notebook is great for working on the go. It features 360-degree rotation, offering the quick convenience of a tablet and the usability of a laptop. It is powered by an Intel Quad Core processor and it runs on Windows 10 operating system. The 11.6-inch notebook features a 2MP selfie camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a 10,000 mAh battery. It also offers a memory card slot. The device is available in three different colors: black, white, and a red. Those who would like a traditional notebook can opt for the 11.1-inch device delivered by SLIDE. It shares the main features of the convertible notebook, minus the convertible feature, and it is more affordable.

The tablets and the notebooks are already available on the company’s website. The price of the 2-in-1 tablets starts at $199. The traditional notebook will set buyers back $279, while the convertible notebook will cost them $399.
