Musk has now revealed that there will be additional verification badges used in addition to the blue verified badge, continuing the story of Twitter Blue’s ups and downs. For recognized users, such as businesses and governments, there will now be gold and grey ticks in addition to the traditional blue tick.
“Checks are in blue for people, grey for governments, and gold for businesses (celebrities or not). painful but essential “Musk tweeted.
Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week.
Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates.

A parody account tweeted, “We are excited to announce insulin is free now,” which led to the now-famous stock crash of Eli Lilly. The move is an effort to stop the onslaught of parody accounts posing as companies.
Musk declared that Twitter Blue had been temporarily suspended after the commotion. Before the suspension, any user could pay only $8 and virtually transform into anyone they desired, emphasizing the necessity of a real verification tick.
Accounts will now receive the appropriate tick after manual verification, while standard accounts can still receive the blue tick.
