ChatGPT: Everything about the AI-powered chatbot

OpenAI’s text-generating chatbot, ChatGPT, has gone viral. Over 92% of Fortune 500 companies use a behemoth tool to increase productivity by writing essays and coding with brief text prompts for more general uses.

Although ChatGPT has a negative aspect, AI tools are here to stay. ChatGPT boasts 100 million weekly active users since its introduction over a year ago, and OpenAI is investing extensively in it.

The company is not investing in former CEO Sam Altman’s leadership after a weekend that presented and dispelled the possibility of his return after a sudden firing on November 17 after the board stated they had lost confidence in him. OpenAI’s CTO, Mira Murati, was interim CEO, but Twitch co-founder Emmett Shear took over after a hectic weekend.

Prior to the leadership crisis, OpenAI held its first developer conference, DevDay, on November 6. It introduced GPT-4 Turbo, a multimodal API, and a GPT store where users can design and sell custom GPT versions at the conference.

GPT-4, which writes more fluidly and fluently, is mostly available to ChatGPT subscribers. Bing Chat on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Safari lets you access GPT-4 for free. GPT-4 and OpenAI DevDay announcements aside, OpenAI recently opened ChatGPT to the internet for all users. Users can generate text prompts and pictures in ChatGPT using DALL-E 3.

ChatGPT product upgrades and releases, from the latest to the latest, have been updated throughout the year. For further questions, see our ChatGPT FAQ.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT is a general-purpose chatbot that generates text once a user enters a prompt. The chatbot employs GPT-4, a massive deep learning language model, to write like a person.

When was ChatGPT released?
On November 30, 2022, ChatGPT was made public.

Which ChatGPT version is latest?
ChatGPT Plus and free ChatGPT receive new GPT models often. Newest model is GPT-4.

Can I use ChatGPT free?
ChatGPT Plus and a sign-in-only free version are available.

Who uses ChatGPT?
Anyone can use ChatGPT! Chatbots are being used by increasing tech companies and search engines to automate text or swiftly answer customer requests.

Which firms use ChatGPT?
Many companies use ChatGPT, however others may limit its use.

Microsoft just announced at Build 2023 that it is incorporating ChatGPT-based Bing into Windows 11. A Brooklyn-based 3D display business, Looking Glass, uses ChatGPT to create chatable holograms. In order to help end users transition to web3, NGO Solana integrated the chatbot into its network with a ChatGPT plug-in.

ChatGPT GPT meaning?
GPT for Generative Pre-Trained Transformer.

What distinguishes ChatGPT from Bard?
Bard, like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, answers natural language questions. At its 2023 I/O event, Google stated that Bard will soon offer multimodal material, including rich images. For now, rich visuals are photos; subsequently, maps, charts, etc.

ChatGPT’s generative AI has survived longer than Bard and “learned” longer.

The difference between ChatGPT and a chatbot?
A chatbot can be any software/system that communicates with you, not just AI-powered. Rules-based chatbots answer inquiries with canned responses.

ChatGPT generates text after prompts using AI and LLM.

Could ChatGPT write essays?

Can ChatGPT libelate?
These models only care if something looks true because of how they work. Yes, that’s an issue when you’re using it for homework, but libel if it accuses you of a crime you didn’t commit.

Over the next two months, IT and legal professionals will strive to handle ChatGPT’s worrisome comments, the industry’s fastest-moving target.
