A few weeks back, we reported that some images depicting the Motorola Moto M have surfaced on the web. Now, a new set of photos were leaked, and they were brought to our attention by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as @stagueve. Lenovo’s mid-ranger Motorola smartphone reveals itself in high definition in the latest images. These are quite similar to the ones we’ve seen back in September. However, this time around we get a glimpse of the handset’s spec sheet too.
According to the aforementioned source, the Moto M will have a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone has an Helio P15 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, and it includes 4GB of RAM. Also, the handset offers 32GB of internal storage. Even though we don’t know whether it will have a microSD card slot or not, it’s safe to assume that this space is all your money will get you. After all, it is a mid-ranger, not a high-end device. The upcoming Motorola device will have a 3050mAh battery, which isn’t impressive, but it isn’t lame either. It should be enough to take users through a whole day on a single charge. Other leaked specs of the handset include a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP front-facing one. According to some, it’s even possible that the Moto M will have a 16MP back camera.
As we already reported a few weeks back, the upcoming Moto will have a fingerprint sensor on the back cover, and a metallic unibody. These features have not changed in the latest pictures either. Also, we need to mention that the Moto M will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, instead of this year’s Nougat. The smartphone is scheduled to be launched on November 8, so we will know a lot more about the device in less than a week. Until then, you can check out the leaked photos and try to decide whether you like this handset or not. It’s safe to say that its success or failure will depend on its pricing. What would you think a fair price for this smartphone should be? Let us know in a comment.
