Atlas C57, an innovative flashlight, launched on Kickstarter

A few days ago another interesting project surfaced on Kickstarter, the crowdfunding platform that helps companies to bring creative projects to life. The project was launched by Atlas Flashlights, who are raising funds for their brand new device, the Atlas C57, which might be one of the most impressive flashlights we’ve seen so far. The C57 is an eye- catching flashlight made of aluminum, titanium and carbon fiber, some of the strongest materials ever used to manufacture a flashlight. This flashlight is IPX-8 water submersible and it has a sapphire lens which is scratch proof. It is probably the toughest device of its kind, so it could be the flashlight that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

The C57 flashlight can be customized according to the preferences of the users, both design- wise and performance- wise. When it comes to the looks of the flashlight, users can choose between a large variety of colors and finishes, so everyone can find the flashlight that best mirrors their style. All of the versions come with black hard anodized aluminum rings and body. The titanium endcap and button, the carbon fiber handle and the hard anodized aluminum core all come together in creating a beautiful flashlight that you will gladly carry around.

Users can also opt for the preferred power source since the flashlight can be powered by one 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery or two CR123s. The Atlas C57 can also be mounted on different objects, due to its two mounting options- the 30 mm with the carbon shell and 1 inch without it. It can be mounted on rifles, for example, if you are a gun enthusiast.

What is really great, besides the materials used, about the C57 is its light source, which is a Cree XP- L LED that offers four different outputs, ranging from moonlight to turbo. If you chose the moonlight light setting, the flashlight will emit 1 lumen, the low setting will bring you 50 lumens, the medium setting 300 lumens, and if you really need a powerful light you can set the C57 to emit 1000 lumens. We can’t really imagine any situation in which you could need more than that. The Atlas flashlight is highly reliable, it can run for up to 7 days on a single charge.

What really impresses about this flashlight is the fact that the manufacturers paid attention to every single detail. No expenses were spared in material and component selection and this is shown by the Atlas C57. It looks great, it is durable, but also light, and it offers a great battery life, so it is extremely useful in expeditions and other travels. The flashlight became available on Kickstarter beginning from $139 and it is believed to be delivered starting April 2016. If you want to back the project, you can do that in the next 22 days and you will receive one package of your choosing. The pledged amount could get you the best flashlight you have ever owned.
