The firm announced on the fourth day of Star Wars Celebration 2023. Lucasfilm said Friday that Disney+ will air Star Wars spinoff “The Acolyte” in 2024. The series takes place after the High Republic, before the Star Wars films. Lee Jung-jae and Amandla Stenberg will lead.

Lucasfilm confirmed today that the “Ahsoka” series will premiere in August 2023. “The Mandalorian,” “Andor,” and “The Book of Boba Fett” will join the Disney+ lineup of live-action Star Wars series. The business also announced that “Andor” will return in August 2024.

Lucasfilm revealed three Star Wars films, one of which will bring Rey back. Rey will found a new Jedi Order 15 years after “The Rising of Skywalker” in the film. One feature will revisit the dawn of the Jedi, while the third will focus on the New Republic and wrap up the stories from “The Mandalorian,” “The Book of Boba Fett,” “Ahsoka,” and other Disney+ programs. These films have no release dates from Disney or Lucasfilm.
