iPhone 6S – Record Sales Expected in the First Weekend After Launch Date

Apple’s iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus flagship devices were released on Friday and ever since they were launched, costumers form long lines at Apple stores all over the world in order to get their hands on the brand new smartphones. Although prices for the iPhone 6S begin at $199 with contract and $649 without contract in the USA and are available for higher prices in other countries, tech- enthusiasts couldn’t wait for the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus to hit the stores. Queuing for the new models seems to slowly become a tradition, history being repeated by the interminable lines which are formed at Apple stores for the new models. The scene is extremely similar to that from the launching of the iPhone 6 last year.

Financial analysts foresee an impressive 12 million- 13 million  smartphones will be purchased in the first days after their launch, to be precise, only this weekend. Given the high number of devices sold at the launch of the iPhone 6, their predictions might just be accurate. The new iPhone models were eagerly awaited, especially by those customers who are loyal to Apple and whom could not begin to think of purchasing any other brand of smartphone than the iPhone. Considering the technical specifications of the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus and the relatively low number of changes compared to the iPhone 6 the high interest for the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus is a little surprising, but then again we have to recognize the thrill of having a brand new device in our hands, which only tech- enthusiasts can relate to. Other than the size of the device, the 3D display of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus seems to be the most outstanding novelty brought by Apple’s new flagship devices but this feature and other minor changes seem to be more than enough for customers to want to purchase the new flagship models.

We have to admit that the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus are extremely appealing devices, and therefore we don’t doubt that they will sell like crazy. Record sales will, in this case, be a reality and not only a prediction of financial analysts. We hope that every owner of the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will have purchased exactly the device they wished for. At least until the next, improved model will be launched.
