Thanks to the advanced thermoelectric technology of the watch, it can accurately measure the calories users burn. Besides this, it is also able to monitor the quality of sleep, and it has a pedometer. The Matrix PowerWatch is water resistant to 50 meters so users won’t have to take it off when swimming. Naturally, the smartwatch also has features like timer and stopwatch, and users can choose from a number of different watch faces.
The Matrix PowerWatch is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, so everyone will be able to use it. At this point, the Matrix smartwatch is only a project, but it already raised the funds the team needed to take their work to the next level. The funds from the Indiegogo campaign will help the team start manufacturing the smartwatch. If everything goes well, the mass production of the gadget will start in September 2017. It will start shipping in time for next year’s holiday season.
The suggested retail price of the Matrix powerWatch is $169.99. Even though this isn’t really a small price to pay for a smartwatch, it might be worth for some users. Only the fact that they don’t have to bother charging the device could turn this gadget into the perfect smartwatch for many users out there.
